Working on a hybrid bread, I’m naming it….’Crobrioche’. It’s comes with a croissant buttery crisp crust + a soft brioche dough in the inside, a combination of these two doughs to form a loaf bread.
It’s still the rainy season but the weather man is warning us for again, an Indian Summer this year. (As I recall….it’s been extremely hot for the past couple of years, so what’s new?) Anyway, my mind is just getting set for the coming hot days, as well as getting (trying not to forget), getting rid of some of my archived fabrics, lying deep under the sewing pantry. So…I found a thin silky linen cloth, which probably was an over-sized scarf. Trying to keep the beautiful vertical weaved pattern, I turned it into a elastic skirt, a Thailand-ish wrap around skirt image. Not much of sewing techniques required for any of my DIY skirts. Second was again an over-sized scarf, I think it was a present from a colleague who went to East Europe. This is a circular skirt made out from a 360 degree cut out. 今年は猛暑になる、猛暑になる、、といわれるとついつい力んでしまいます。年々日本の夏が苦手になるわたし。 キレイな布がまだまだねむっているので夏向けのスカート作製。 下のは超〜簡単に作れる『ゴム・スカート』。布は薄いエスニックスカーフでタイの巻きスカートをイメージして改造を計りました。 もう一つは『フレアスカート』。柔らかくてパターンも東ヨーロッパのデザインみたいな？誰かのお土産に貰った気がするけど思い出せない。デザインを動かしたくてフレアスカートに仕立てました。これはちょっと裁断を失敗して実はつぎはぎしてるんだけど360℃のフレアなので分からないから許す（笑）。 保存 保存 保存 保存 保存 保存
