DIY Patch-worked ‘Tote Bag’ | ハギレアートしてみました….トートバッグ

シルクの生地を細かくパッチワークしてトートバッグを作製。下地はもちろんリネンを使用し、表面の生地はシルクを手縫いと刺し子で構成されています。色使 いがとっても難しい。もっとアートセンスがあると素晴らしいものが誕生しそうですが、、わたしの限界はここで第一作はこれで一度完成させてました。

I’ve been so into making this ‘Toto Bag’…it’s a patch-worked Toto Bag made from silk leftover fabrics. It’s all hand sawn with ‘sashiko’ stiches so yes! it does takes quite a while to make this one bag.

It’s my first attempt to see if it works or if I like it.

Humm….yes…it’s not bad for a first attempt.

Could be better?  Stay tuned.
