Yuzu is a citrus fruit (citrus junos) which I, personally did not encounter in western countries but a very common and unique scented fruit often used with Japanese ‘washoku’ cooking.

Clear Chicken Oil|鶏油 Chinese have their own unique method and using ‘Clear Chicken Oil’ seem to be one of them. As with the Italians using ‘Olive Oil’ for their most all of their cooking, having this ‘clear chicken oil’ (chi-yu) seem to get closer to fine chinese food.

Found this recipe at at FOOD 52, not my original YET but this may be something to try out for ‘Christmas’. It’s pretty and if you are a lover of savory food (with lots of butter) this seems to be a relatively easy bread for the festival season.
Once again, I’m back; back I hope to a normal regular life since I’ve been away for over a week to perform a ‘gallbladder removal surgery’. I am not certain as to the aftermath and my future diet but seemingly a large intake of oily products and food does not seem recommended as this organ basically disintegrates the oil. Well, I wasn’t much of a great oil eater anyway so…..I hope this will not affect what I loved and hope to continue to love.
